ILPACS equipments are luminated indicators, this equipmentisessentially a traffic lightwhich indicatesthe current positionof a track switch, and its main purposeis to inform thetrain as to which rail line it’s aligned to in regards to theircurrent position thus avoiding the trainhaving to stop inorder to inspect the positionof the switch.
